Welcome to our Reggio inspired Kindergarten blog! Our classroom is located in Ontario, Canada. Check out our blog on a regular basis to see what we are learning at school.
Welcome
I encourage you to use this blog with your child. Have them explain to you what they were doing, learning, exploring, creating etc. Use this as an opportunity to talk about school and to allow your child to reflect on their day.

Wonder Wall
How to inspire children's curiosity for learning? Well in our classroom we have decided to use our "wonder wall". The children created the wall using mural paper, brown paint and a sponge. Each brick represents a wonder. The children were encouraged to come up with something they would like to learn more about. After thinking about it we had them sit with their elbow partner and share their wonders. Each child was given a post it note and Mrs. Rumford and I helped them either write or draw a picture of what they would like to learn more about. Once they were finished each child stuck their wonder on the wall. We are hoping to use the wonder wall as a way to spark inquiry and begin our journey of inquiry based learning.
